BACKGROUND Janice Ciampa-Bauer, a native of Boston, arrived in Vail in 1976 to a sleepy ski town and watched the area mature to its present stature. She was one of the early real estate pioneers in the area, having been active since 1978. EDUCATION A linguist with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Universi
ty of Maine and the I'Universite d'Aix - Marseilles, France, Janice has combined her expertise in French, Spanish and German to welcome foreign as well as American property owners into our community.

Continuous education is the key to her professional success. As a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and a past member of FIABCI (International Federation of Real Estate), she is an annual attendant at the Colorado Real Estate Convention, focusing on Resort Real Estate.
PERSONAL A Vail homeowner since 1978, Janice resides in Lake Creek with her husband, Zdenek; her two sons, Andreas and Bjorn; and her two German Shepherds. Actively involved in the community with her church, local schools, sports teams and art community, she celebrates the active local lifestyle with skiing, snow shoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and boating.
